Stephanie Coffin is the Global Peptide Drug Substance Steward at Eli Lilly, where she provides technical oversight for the commercialization, manufacture, and continuous improvement of the company's growing peptide portfolio. She led the development of the purification process for tirzepatide (Mounjaro/Zepbound) and is a named inventor on patents covering the GIP/GLP-1 dual agonist manufacturing process. Stephanie was responsible for the process development and commercialization of four marketed products, has contributed to peer-reviewed publications on kilogram-scale GMP peptide synthesis, and is active in various professional networks. She holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and completed an NRSA postdoctoral fellowship at Wake Forest University.
