Steve is the Founder and Chief Consultant for Sinawali Biotechnology Solutions. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from UC San Diego, where he received the Harold Urey Award, and he completed his Ph.D. work in Biophysical Chemistry at UC Berkeley under Dr. Ignacio Tinoco. A former VP in the Biotech industry, he has broad experience leading teams for Advanced Technologies, Analytical Sciences (including oligonucleotides, proteins, mRNA/LNP, polymers, and small molecules), Structural Biology, and Process Chemistry. He also has broad experience in gene editing, QC/GMP, management, as a site head, as well as developing teams, future leaders and corporate governance programs.
