Thibaut WilleminBioassay Scientist at mRNA Center of Excellence | SanofiSpeaker
Profile
I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, followed by a Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology and Infectiology from the University of Lyon. During my studies, I developed a great interest in infectious diseases and novel vaccine technologies. I worked on mRNA vaccines in the Laboratory of Tissue Biology and Therapeutic Engineering (LBTI) in Lyon and had the chance to develop virology assays in Boehringer Ingelheim. After those experiences, my goal was to work on new vaccine platforms and the analytical methods to evaluate them. I joined Sanofi to work on mRNA vaccines in 2021, and since then focused on developing cell-based assays to evaluate mRNA vaccines in-vitro activity.
