Toshiki Mikami received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Tokyo under the supervision of Prof. Kyoko Nozaki, where he began his research in peptide chemistry. In 2020, he joined the group of Prof. Jeffrey Bode at ETH Zurich as a PhD student, working on chemical protein synthesis, site-selective bioconjugation, and protein engineering. Since 2025, he has been a postdoctoral researcher at Novartis, working on peptide synthesis for therapeutic development.
