Walter Cabri spent 35 years in the pharmaceutical industry with leading positions in Drug Discovery and Development. In 2019 he joined the University of Bologna as full professor of Organic Chemistry. The Tolomelli-Cabri lab is working on drug discovery projects and sustainable processes for APIs. He has >140 publications, >115 patent families, and one book “From Bench to Market” by OUP. Recently he was the co-editor with Lucia Ferrazzano and Alessandra Tolomelli of a book of the RSC Green Chemistry Serie: “Sustainability in TIDES Chemistry.”
