Sheila Botting is currently Principal & President, Americas Professional Services with Avison Young. This new role is focused on enhancing our professional technical services offering to support our client’s strategy through implementation programs across the entire real estate life cycle – including occupiers, investors, market participants and the public sector. Sheila is also a key member of Avison Young’s Global Executive.

Prior to Avison Young, Sheila was Senior Partner & Canadian Real Estate Leader with Deloitte LLP where she led the transformation of Deloitte’s own Canadian workplaces, along with many substantive assignments around the globe. Prior to Deloitte, Sheila was Executive Managing Director of Cushman & Wakefield where she led teams delivering to industry’s largest investors, owners and corporate occupiers.

Sheila is also a Trustee with First Capital REIT, a leading Canadian real estate company that owns, operates, and develops grocery anchored open air centres in neighbourhoods with the strongest demographics in Canada. She also recently joined the Advisory Board with MBI Brands, the Canadian privately held restaurant company that operates Mary Brown’s Chicken and Fat Bastard Burrito.
