Anna Soubbotina is a Principal within the Transfer Pricing Practice. Ms. Soubbotina guides companies, their advisors and government agencies through the life cycle of corporate controlled transactions: from international expansion to ongoing risk management and compliance, through to effective controversy resolution. She has advised Fortune 100 public and private companies on transactions involving the transfer and use of intangible, tangible and financial assets and risks, as well as services. In her current role as the East Coast TP Leader at CRA, Ms. Soubbotina leverages her experience working with Fortune 100 companies, legal and accounting advisors to guide clients through business change, compliance, and controversy resolution. When designing economic solutions for complex business transactions, she frequently teams with cross-functional company and external stakeholders, including law firms, tax accounting firms, and government agencies. Ms. Soubbotina has conducted economic analyses and contributed to expert witness reports for both tax and transfer pricing matters in a range of contexts, including U.S. federal taxation, U.S. state taxation, international arbitration and international trade and has provided expert testimony.
Prior to joining CRA, Ms. Soubbotina was with the Global Transfer Pricing practice of Deloitte Tax LLP for 14 years. She also spent two years with Deloitte Tax’s National Office in Washington, DC developing best practices and technical advice for emerging areas in transfer pricing.
Ms. Soubbotina is recognized as a highly regarded expert in the World Transfer Pricing Guide, is a member and regional representative of the USA Branch of the International Fiscal Association and was appointed to the Law360 2024 Editorial Advisory Board for Tax Authority International.
