Mark oversees BDO’s National Transfer Pricing practice. For more than 30 years, he has consulted with clients on business, accounting, tax, and valuation issues, performing transfer pricing services for multinationals as well as U.S. domestic companies.Mark’s transfer pricing experience includes leading documentation and planning engagements involving cost sharing arrangements, intercompany financing and guarantee fees, and headquarters services analyses. He has assisted clients with transfer pricing controversy including Internal Revenue Service (IRS) audit and appeals cases as well as advanced pricing agreements.Effective July 2020, Mark was named Leader of BDO’s Global Transfer Pricing Centre of Excellence. The Centre of Excellence supports and helps clients wherever in the world they do business, leveraging the in—depth knowledge, experience and insights of transfer pricing professionals.Mark has more than five years of experience providing litigation services to attorneys and their clients, including preparing for and participating in trial depositions, as well as delivering expert witness testimony.He has been a frequent speaker on the topic of transfer pricing for organizations such as the Tax Executives Institute, International Fiscal Association (IFA) and the Council for International Tax Education. Mark has also lectured on transfer pricing at Duke University, Emory University, and Texas A&M University. Mark co-authored the BNA Tax Management Portfolio on Accounting for Uncertain Tax Positions in Transfer Pricing under ASC 740.
