Barbara Garcia

Global Head of Transfer Pricing at BCG

Barbara Garcia is a Senior Tax Director at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) leading BCG’s global in-house transfer pricing function. Barbara has specialized in transfer pricing for over 20 years and is currently based in Madrid, Spain. In her current role, Barbara is responsible for all transfer pricing aspects of BCG, including planning and policy, compliance, operations and dispute resolution. Since joining the Company, Barbara has represented the Group around the world in controversy matters from audit through litigation, including MAPs and APAs. Before joining BCG, she worked for PwC for 13 years in multiple jurisdictions, including the United States, the United Kingdom and Ireland. Barbara holds a law degree from the University of Lisbon (Portugal). She recently completed Harvard Kennedy School’s Comparative Tax Policy and Administration program and represents BCG at the BIAC Tax Policy Forum.
