Coro Mugica leads the global transfer pricing function at Japan Tobacco International (JTI), a multinational FMCG group. Based in Geneva, she is responsible for the design and execution of JTI’s global transfer pricing strategy, including APAs, advisory, controversy management, operational transfer pricing and tax technology, and works closely with senior finance, legal and corporate affairs stakeholders.Coro brings over 20 years of experience combining Big 4 and in house roles across several European jurisdictions. Prior to her current role, she held senior business development and M&A positions within JTI, leading cross functional projects covering market entries, acquisitions, joint ventures and complex negotiations. She started her career at Deloitte in Madrid, focusing on audit, transaction advisory and valuations, with particular exposure to the renewables and infrastructure sectors.She has deep expertise in transfer pricing, international tax, valuations and negotiations, and is recognised for her ability to bridge tax, business and operational perspectives in complex, cross functional environments.
