Dr. Debora De Souza Correa Talutto is the Vice President of Global Tax (Global Planning & Projects) at Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW), where she leads the company’s global tax strategy and oversees international tax, transfer pricing, and special projects. Before joining MVW, she served as a Tax Law Specialist within the IRS’s LB&I Division, working in the Transfer Pricing Practice Network. Her prior in‑house leadership roles include Tax Director – Transfer Pricing & Special Projects at Veritas Technologies, Tax Director at accesso Technology Group, and Global Transfer Pricing Manager at Temenos Banking Software. She began her career as a Senior Consultant with Deloitte Brazil, advising multinational companies on complex cross‑border tax matters.
In addition to her industry experience, Dr. Talutto is an active academic. She has taught International Tax Planning as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Florida and currently serves as an Adjunct Professor in Texas A&M University School of Law’s online Transfer Pricing Program. She is also the author of several publications, including the Cost Sharing Arrangements chapter of A Practical Guide to U.S. Transfer Pricing and the Brazil chapters in the LexisNexis Foreign Tax and Trade Briefs, Guide to FATCA Compliance, and other international tax and compliance titles.
Dr. Talutto holds a Doctorate in Juridical Science (S.J.D.) and an LL.M. in International Taxation from the University of Florida, as well as a Juris Doctor, an MBA in Finance, and a post‑graduate degree in Brazilian Taxation from institutions in Brazil.
