Elias Thomas

Tax Director - Transfer Pricing at SPOTIFY

Elias Thomas works as the Transfer Pricing Director at Spotify. He is based at the Swedish Headquarters in Stockholm. On a daily basis, Elias oversees the entire Transfer Pricing chain; from analyzing the business and industry and setting the strategies to managing the implementation and execution of the policies. Being one of the early finance employees at a multinational start-up, Elias has over the last 14 years been involved in many of the finance functions. He has managed parts of accounting and tax functions as well as driven finance/IT related projects and helped supporting the development of one of the world’s largest streaming platforms. From his combined experience in finance and IT, he has insights into the link between the Digital Economy and Transfer Pricing, which is a natural element of Spotify’s business operations. Elias holds a Master Degree in Business Economics and Administration from Stockholm University and has an academic background in IT Management.
