Fernando Souza de Man is an international tax expert with 15+ years of experience. Currently he is a Senior Tax Manager at Bolt, the first European mobility super-app which aims to make urban travel affordable and sustainable. Prior to joining Bolt, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Maastricht University, teaching and researching on issues relating to International and European Tax Law, International Tax Planning and Fiscal Ethics, and as a lawyer in Brazil, advising clients on their domestic and cross-border tax affairs. Fernando's main focus over the last several years has been the interests of developing countries in their tax treaties. He holds a PhD from Maastricht University.
