Gerian joined Baker Hughes in 2025 as Pillar Two Lead, Netherlands Tax Lead, and statutory director for the Netherlands, carrying responsibility for the Pillar Two compliance and provisioning. He is a professional in Dutch, International and European tax law and has over 15 years of BIG4 experience, most of which at EY, where he advised multinational enterprises and investors regarding the tax aspects of cross-border transactions, (re)structuring and (re)financing, mostly in the energy industry. He holds masters in tax law and in financial law and followed the European Fiscal Studies post-master program at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
