Giulio Tombesi is Associate Partner at Tremonti Romagnoli Piccardi e Associati, which he joined in 2015 after having worked for six years at other leading Italian tax firms. Giulio specializes in international taxation and has gained extensive experience in cross-border tax matters, mainly in relation to double tax treaties interpretation and transfer pricing policy setting. Most part of his time is dedicated to assisting Italian MNE corporations in solving domestic and cross-border tax issues, with primary involvement in APAs, BAPAs and Patent Box regime procedures. Thanks to the several experiences made throughout his professional career, Giulio can provide comprehensive assistance from multiple tax angles. His expertise includes dealing with tax issues on M&A transactions for corporations and private equity funds. He also has a strong knowledge of tax matters related to debt and equity capital markets. He is fully committed to the diffusion of international tax knowledge in Italy being an active member of multiple Italian tax professional associations. He is also the author of several publications with major domestic and international tax magazines.
