JP joined EY UK in 2020. He currently focusses on advising UK listed groups on their transfer pricing, and especially its interaction with BEPS 2.0.He is part of EY’s global input on Pillar 1 to the OECD (especially amount B). He leads the BEPS 2.0 initiatives at EY UK in TP. From 2019 to 2021, he led the Pillar I input for the South African Institute for Chartered Accountants. He has presented at various EY and industry events on BEPS 2.0, more specifically Amounts A and B at large, and the impact of transfer pricing on Pillar II. He has also been involved in various controversy engagements throughout his career, most notably the largest TP disputes in South Africa since 2009. He is currently involved with bilateral APA/MAPs between the UK and the US, Germany, Poland, Italy and Ireland respectively. He has also led the TP team with another big four firm in South Africa from 2015 to 2020, with experience in London prior to that.
