Martin acts as senior adviser for FTI Consulting and previously worked within HMRC on international tax issues for over 24 years. In that time he led on a wide range of international tax issues in operational, policy, litigation and training areas. In particular he focused on financial and non-financial transfer pricing issues including thin capitalisation and APAs, acting as a Delegated Competent Authority on these issues and negotiating with other tax jurisdictions, and acting as a UK delegate to OECD in relation to double taxation conventions.
