Profile
Dr. Martin Lagarden MBA has been with Henkel group in Germany and the US for almost 30 years, holding various managerial positions in R&D, Controlling and Finance. Since 2008, he is Head of Global Transfer Pricing (TP) in Henkel’s Finance – Global Tax & Trade unit. His responsibilities span TP system development, international audit management and dispute resolution, documentation, digitalization in operational TP and related topics.
He has been awarded academic degrees from the Universities of Aachen, Bochum, and Duesseldorf in Germany, and from Reading/Henley Business School in the UK. To date, he has (co-)authored several publications on various aspects of transfer pricing, including intangibles and their valuation, benchmarking, and documentation topics, as well as on TP in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry.
Moreover, Martin is co-editor of IBFD’s (NL) International Transfer Pricing Journal, member of the German Schmalenbach Society for Business Administration and IFA branch, and regular presenter on various transfer pricing topics at different universities and professional conferences in Europe and the US.
