Senior Manager, Tax Controversy at DLA PIPER

Ravi Ahlawat is a Senior Manager in the Tax Controversy team; he joined DLA Piper from PwC in December 2023. Prior to working at PwC, Ravi started his tax career at the UK tax authority, HMRC, in their Large Business Directorate. During his time at the UK tax authority he led Direct tax, Transfer Pricing and International Tax investigations into large multinational corporations. His last role at HMRC, as within the newly formed Diverted Profits Tax Taskforce. After leaving the UK tax authority he was part of PwC’s Tax Disputes network, leveraging his experience at HMRC to help clients resolve Direct Tax, Transfer Pricing and International Tax enquiries and successfully navigate clients through the UK tax authority’s governance processes.
