Roberto Lai

Head of Transfer Pricing at FDJ UNITED

Roberto Lai is a chartered accountant qualified in both Italy and the UK, currently serving as Head of Transfer Pricing at FDJ UNITED, formerly La Française des Jeux, and one of Europe’s leading gaming operators. He leads all aspects of the Group’s transfer pricing strategy, including the design, implementation, and ongoing management of global policies. Before joining FDJ UNITED, Roberto was an international tax advisor at PwC, specialising in transfer pricing and working primarily with FTSE 100 companies on global documentation, Advance Pricing Agreements and dispute resolution across multiple jurisdictions. Roberto holds a degree in Management and Economics, as well as a Master of Science in Law and Business Administration from Bocconi University.
