Trude Steinnes Sønvisen

Ms. Trude Steinnes Sønvisen is a Legal Adviser, Section for Individual Taxation and Capital Taxation and Tax Treaties, Tax Law Departement, Ministry of Finance. Her previous positions include Senior Tax Adviser and Tax Adviser, Tax Law Department, Ministry of Finance and National Expert at the Directorate-General Taxation and Customs Union, European Commission. Ms. Sønvisen holds a Master in Law Degree, University of Tromsø, Norway. She long experience from participation in international tax cooperation in various international organisations. She is a Norwegian delegate to the Task Force on the Digital Economy at the Inclusive Framework, She is a delegate to OECD/CFA’s Working Party 6 on the Taxation of Multinational Enterprises and served as Vice Co-Chair of the WP 2019-2023. She is currently a member of the UN Committee of Tax Experts and a member of the Bureau of the UN Ad Hoch Committee on Tax.
