Jan-Paul Vestering is the Head of Tax Zone Americas in Nestlé and is since the summer 2024 located in the DC area in the US. Before he moved to the US, he was since 2015 the Head of Group Transfer Pricing & Business Models at Nestlé in Switzerland. In that role he was globally responsible for all transfer pricing related matters and for all business restructuring projects from a tax perspective. He has been deeply involved “from start to finish” in setting up a global centralized procurement company, designing and implementing various principal model projects, etc. In 2007 Jan-Paul changed from profession to industry and moved to Carlsberg in Denmark to start building up the global transfer pricing area within the Carlsberg group. Amongst others, he has been setting-up a centralized procurement company and a centralized supply chain principal within Carlsberg. Prior to joining the Carlsberg Group Jan-Paul worked as a transfer pricing adviser with Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen in the Netherlands.
