Jessie Coleman is a principal in KPMG’s Washington National Tax Office – focusing on services related to transfer pricing planning, documentation, controversy and international tax policy. Jessie has worked with clients in a broad range of industries, with substantial experience in financial services, retail, natural resources, pharmaceutical, medical device, automotive, agricultural, electronics, and business services.

Jessie joined KPMG in 2021 from the World Bank Group where she headed the Tax Office at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) - the private sector arm of the Group. As Tax Office head, Jessie’s responsibilities included developing and implementing tax-related policies and procedures related to both the OECD Inclusive Framework and the OECD Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes, and providing thought leadership in international and responsible tax policy.

Prior to the World Bank Group, she was a director economist (national partner) with Baker & McKenzie Consulting LLC for over a decade, where she provided economic transfer pricing consulting and valuation services to Fortune 500 companies.

Her representative matters include:

—Providing economic transfer pricing consulting services to clients in online advertising, financial services, pharmaceutical, retail, medical device, agriculture, electronics, software, and automotive industries

—Performing financial analysis used for expert testimony in a multi-billion transfer pricing case

—Leading numerous projects focused on negotiating multiple bilateral APAs involving the US and Canada, China, Korea, Japan

—Assisting taxpayers during IRS audits to respond to IRS information requests and during IRS interviews

—Managing all economic aspects of IP migration projects utilizing licensing and cost sharing methodologies

—Leading US, Lain America, Europe and Asia teams to complete 60 countries 100+ entities transfer pricing documentation project for one of the largest online advertising companies
