Dawd is the Global lead for the COO Regulatory Market Initiatives function at Deutsche Bank. He represents Deutsche Bank on multiple Trade Association Committees and Working Groups at ISDA, AFME, FIA, GFMA,ICMA & UK Finance.
Dawd represents Deutsche Bank on the DTCC Global Trade Repository Steering Committee. He is a member of the BoE Wholesale Working Group & Transforming Data Collection Standards Committee, The British Standards Institute IST/12 Financial Services Committee representing the UK at ISO, TC68/AG5 the Digital Currency Advisory Group & the ISO Derivatives SubSEG. He is a member of the DSB ANNA Product Committee, Non Standard Taskforce & Digital Asset Strategy Sub-Committee, The Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) Globally Important Financial Institutions (GIFI) Relationship Group, EuroFiling, Reporting & Reference Data SIG & the Global Derivatives Digital Regulatory Reporting Group.
He has chaired numerous industry initiatives to create Global Industry best practices in Regulatory Reporting and was invited to provide input to the FSB GUUG and CPMI-IOSCO global reporting harmonisation initiatives for UTI, UPI and CDE as a financial derivative industry expert.
Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Dawd has worked at Barclays, Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, Northern Rock, BNP Paribas, JP Morgan, Royal bank of Scotland, Standard Chartered Bank, UBS and the EBRD in various Front Office and Regulatory roles.
