David is a seasoned consultant in the financial industry with long experience in requirements analysis, problem-solving, software development, and technical writing. He is seen as a local expert in transaction reporting (MiFIR, EMIR, SFTR) and has worked full time with transaction reporting regulation, requirements, and reporting for more than a decade. He has taken part in many implementation and change projects, worked with quality assurance and corrections post go-live and provided strategic solutions for various clients.

He has also designed one commercial reconciliation product for a client and, for another client developed a bespoke reconciliation and analysis tool as part of their quality assurance to ensure and facilitate accurate and compliant reporting.

David plays the trumpet in jazz and show settings and tries to practice regularly when family and works permits.
