Mark St John Qualter is an experienced executive and non-executive leader with a career spanning banking, legal services, and technology. He has held senior roles including Chief Executive of DWF Mindcrest and Head of Strategy for both a major division and a substantial subsidiary of RBS/NatWest, where he led large international teams and delivered strategic and digital transformation, including early applications of AI to enhance decision-making and efficiency.

He is currently Chief Commercial and Financial Officer at Control Now, a UK RegTech company specialising in derivatives trade and transaction reporting.

Beyond his executive career, Mark serves as Chair of Council at the University of Buckingham, the UK’s only independent university with a Royal Charter. He previously was a Governor and chaired the Audit & Risk Committee at Manchester Metropolitan University.
