I have over 35 years’ experience working in financial services, holding various technical and leadership roles for large insurance companies such as Axa, Canada Life and the Generali Group. During this time, I co-drafted and delivered specialist insurance solutions for high and ultra-high net worth clients including unique estate planning solutions and was responsible for training professional advisers.

In 2017 I became an adviser myself and joined the 1291 Group, a global firm of specialist wealth structuring advisers with 36 jurisdictional licenses and providing advice for over 50 countries. We generally work with other professional advice firms to provide “gap fill” solutions for their clients that they are not authorized or licensed to advise on. This mainly focuses on tax mitigation, tax efficiency and cost / tax reduction and simplifying administration and reporting for investment portfolios. We also specialise in insurance based estate planning solutions and cross refer to our external partners for the areas of structuring & estate planning that we are not authorised to do. I am the UK specialist for our group but also have experience of life assurance planning globally.
