Florentino Carreño is a lawyer based in Madrid, Spain, and a partner at Cuatrecasas. He specializes in private client and tax law, and is an expert in asset structuring across countries and generations. He also provides advice on the structuring of family offices, private equity, hedge funds, and insurance. Florentino is an academician of The International Academy of Estate and Trust Law, where he served as President from 2020 to 2022. Additionally, he is an elected international fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He established the London office of Cuatrecasas, where he worked for three years. This experience enabled him to acquire in-depth knowledge of common law wealth structures while advising national and international clients, particularly those from the UK, US, Canada, and Latin America. He lectures on Tax Law and European tax harmonization at the University of Navarra and the University Carlos III.
