James joined Karyopharm in 2021 and is responsible for ensuring that Karyopharm remains compliant with healthcare-related laws and regulations and that the Company upholds the highest standards of business ethics.

Prior to joining Karyopharm, James worked in legal and compliance at AMAG Pharmaceuticals, Novo Nordisk, and Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals.

James holds a JD from University of Southern California Law School and Bachelor’s degrees in History and Philosophy from Pennsylvania State University.
