Oscar is an associate in the disputed wills and trusts team.

Oscar advises trustees and private individuals on all aspects of contentious wills, trusts and estates.

Oscar frequently advises on applications to court in respect of trust interpretation and administration, blessings, applications to set aside transactions on the grounds of mistake and/or Hastings-Bass, claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, executor/beneficiary disputes, breach of trust claims and professional negligence.

Oscar joined Ashfords in 2024, having previously practised at an international firm in London, where he specialised in high-value, international trust and private client disputes and was recognised as a "key lawyer" in the Legal 500. He has particular experience litigating in offshore courts and often speaks at conferences and training events.
