Loredana Mihailescu serves as the Chief Compliance Officer for FIL Investment Management (Luxembourg) S.à r.l., a UCITS management company and AIFM with a MiFID top-up licence and 12 branches across the EEA.

Her role primarily concerns advisory on EU and local regulations applicable to the Fidelity International Group (FIL), participating in regulatory projects at Group level, and maintaining relationships with regulators across the EU. Loredana has extensive experience advising asset managers on European regulatory frameworks, including UCITS, AIFMD, cross‑border distribution, and MiFID.

Prior to joining Fidelity International, she worked as a Senior Manager Compliance at Aberdeen Standard Investments in Luxembourg and was a Lawyer and Partner at CMS Cameron McKenna in Bucharest, Romania.

Loredana is a member of the Romanian Bar Association, she holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Law, and an LLM in Private International Law from the University of Montreal, Faculty of Law.
