Menelaos Xenophontos

Head of Strategy & Intelligence at Invest Cyprus

Menelaos Xenophontos has a multifaceted background in economics, finance, and management, holding a BSc in Economics (Distinction) from Queen Mary University of London and an MPhil in Management from the University of Cambridge (Letter of Commendation).

He spent the first three years of his career in the transaction advisory department of Hellenic Bank, playing a key role in the completion of Project Starlight and Project Seleme II vis-a-vis the disposal of both secured and unsecured NPL portfolios. He then transitioned to a broader advisory role, spending three years between the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) and PwC Cyprus Deals team, where he worked on cross-border collaborations, economic diplomacy, business valuations, and financial due diligence. Menelaos is now the head of Strategy & Intelligence at Invest Cyprus, inter alia driving the development and integration of new strategies to attract FDI into the country.
