Responsible Investment Director at First Sentier Investors

Finian is a Director Responsible Investment (RI) at First Sentier Investors, a global asset manager with circa US$150 billion AuM. In his role, Finian is responsible for developing the firms understanding of current and emerging global sustainable finance regulations across the EU, UK, Asia, Australia and the US and leads on preparation of RI related reporting such as FSI's Stewardship & RI Report, Climate and Nature report. He has 20 years' experience in the Asset Management industry with extensive knowledge of sustainable finance regulations including SFDR, EU Taxonomy, CSRD, UK SDR and sustainability reporting standards/frameworks such as TCFD, ISSB.

Finian is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst and has completed the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing, the CFA UK Certificate in Climate and Investing and is currently studying for a Masters Degree in Climate Change Policy, Society & Media at Dublin City University. He is a member of the UK Investment Association's Sustainability and Responsible Investment Committee and the Central Bank of Ireland’s Climate Forum.
