Head of Funds Policy at Central Bank of Ireland

Jonathan joined the Central Bank of Ireland in 2021 and is currently the Head of Funds Policy with responsibility for the development of investment fund policy and regulation, both domestic and European.

Prior to joining the Central Bank, he was a career civil servant and worked in a number of Government Departments including Finance, Health, Foreign Affairs and Taoiseachs.

He was also seconded to the European Commission and worked on the EU Green Bond Standard and the reviews of the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive and ELTIF Regulation.

He is a graduate of Dublin City University with a Bachelor in Business Studies and also holds an MSc in Investment and Treasury and an MA in Development Studies.
