Designated Person with Responsibility for Investment Management at PGIM Private Capital

Karl is the Designated Person for Investment Management and Distribution at PGIM Private Capital (Ireland) Ltd. with responsibility for the AIFM’s entire investment management oversight and distribution function.

In his current role he drives the investment and distribution functions within the AIFM as well as assists with the structuring, distribution and portfolio management of private credit and direct lending funds domiciled in Ireland.

Karl previously worked as Chief Investment Officer at FMG Group, a boutique Emerging Market asset manager, as well as SphereInvest Group, a public fixed income specialising in high yield funds. Throughout this time, he gained extensive experience managing complex UCITs and AIF products.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.), from the University of Malta, as well as being a CFA Level 3 candidate.
