Alessandro Di Soccio has spent the last 20 years at the intersection of machine learning (ML) and asset management. He is co-CEO and co-founder of A.I. Machines, a technology firm specialized in the development, application and operation of AI/ML solutions for investment management. A.I.M's software, which has been operating multiple fund strategies and unitized managed accounts for the least 8 years, including the world's first AI powered global asset allocation UCITS fund, enables the automation and integration of the entire portfolio management and risk management processes. Previously, Mr Di Soccio was a Director of Citigroup (proprietary and client capital unit with over $50bn under management), an Associate Director of Asset Alliance (hedge fund group with $5bn under management) and worked in mergers and acquisitions at Ermgassen (M&A advisory firm). He holds a Master's degree in Economics from the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna and is a speaker at major industry conferences focused on AI disruption and its benefits for portfolio management.
