Eva Mykolenko is Associate Chief Counsel with ICI Global, the global affiliate of the Investment Company Institute. Founded in 2011, ICI Global seeks to advance the common interests and promote public understanding of regulated investment funds, their mangers, and investors. From her base in Washington, DC, she works on regulatory issues of importance to both US and non-US funds. Recent issues have included: European developments on remuneration, the use of dealing commissions, and inducements; Asian passport proposals; the imposition of sanctions on Russian entities by the US and EU; and India foreign investor and KYC requirements.
Eva started with the Investment Company Institute in 2008 after more than eight years in private practice at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP and Shearman & Sterling LLP. While in private practice, Eva advised mutual fund, hedge fund and investment adviser clients on a variety of compliance, regulatory and transactional matters. Eva received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School.
