Brad Anderson is Vice President, Real Estate Banking, Western Canada at Scotiabank and leads the Western Canadian strategy for acquiring, retaining, and deepening client and industry relationships to promote a positive presence for Scotiabank in the real estate landscape. This includes, managing a team of specialized real estate banking experts to find profitable solutions for our sophisticated real estate industry clientele and facilitating client and key relationships to grow and achieve their goals. The Scotiabank Real Estate Banking group focuses on clientele in medium to large sized real estate markets. We provide solutions for financing, day to day banking, foreign exchange and interest rate hedging needs. We also facilitate assistance with personal and family wealth management advice. Loan types include interim financing for land, land servicing and construction as well as term loans against completed commercial real estate assets and bridge loans for assets being repositioned. As a real estate professional for over 3 decades, Brad has experience as a Director of Finance and Treasurer for a public real estate entity, as a real estate investment analyst, and as a construction and term lender with multiple financial institutions. Brad holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of British Columbia specializing in Urban Land Economics and a Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
