Derrick Hanson is President and CEO of The Attain Group, a Canadian professional engineering and technology consulting firm focused on smart buildings, telecommunications, IT and OT network design, cybersecurity, audiovisual, and electronic security systems. He works closely with real estate owners, developers, and institutional clients across Canada to design secure, scalable digital infrastructure that supports modern building performance and long-term asset value.

Derrick began his entrepreneurial journey as a founder and partner of Netricom, an IT services integrator that grew to $55 million in annual revenue before being successfully sold in the late 1990s. Today, through The Attain Group, he leads multidisciplinary teams delivering technology strategy, telecom and IT services, OT network architecture, and cybersecurity advisory services for complex commercial and mixed-use developments.
