Mark Driman joined CIBC’s Real Estate Investment Banking group in 2003 and is responsible for the origination and execution of financial advisory assignments, mergers & acquisitions, equity and debt financings, and property brokerage.

Mr. Driman’s transaction experience includes: the financing of Bay Adelaide Centre; the IPO of Anthem Citizen Real Estate Development Trust; the consolidation of Padlock Partners UK Funds I-III; the spin-out of Primaris from H&R REIT; the acquisition of Northview Apartment REIT by Starlight Investments, KingSett Capital, and AIMco; and, the sale of Continuum REIT to Starlight Investments. Additionally, Mr. Driman has led closed-end fund offerings that have raised approximately $1.5 billion over the past 10 years.

Mr. Driman holds an HBA (Honours Business Administration) from the Ivey School of Business at Western University and a Master of Finance from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
