Mark V. Lewis is a partner at Bennett Jones LLP and Co Head of the firm’s national Commercial Real Estate Group. He advises on major real estate transactions and the development of complex urban, rural, and infrastructure projects. Mark is recognized for structuring sophisticated equity and co ownership arrangements, regularly acting for developers, private capital providers, and cross-border investors on joint ventures, limited partnerships, mezzanine financing, and profit participation structures. His work spans transit oriented developments, large scale infrastructure initiatives, and natural resource projects, with deep experience guiding clients through regulatory, investment, and land tenure challenges. Mark has served on the board of the Urban Development Institute—Pacific Region since 2012 and chairs its Legal Issues Committee. He is a Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America and a long time contributor to the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia on real estate development, transactions, and financing matters.
