Profile

Catherine Gibson is a business lawyer with over 20 years' experience providing strategic advice on corporate/commercial and real estate matters‎. She represents clients across a wide variety of industries with respect to all aspects of real estate law, including leasing, development, acquisitions and sales and other land-related transactions. Catherine has been recognized for her depth of experience in real estate law by Best Lawyers in Canada, Chambers Canada and the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory. In 2018, she was selected by the Women's Executive Network (WXN) Canada’s Most Powerful Women as a Top 100 Award Winner. Catherine was Managing Partner of DLA Piper’s Vancouver office from 2016 until 2020 and serves on the firm’s National Executive Committee, in addition to formerly serving on the Steering Committee for DLA Piper Canada’s Legal Alliance for Women (LAW).
