Matt Carlson is the CEO and founder of Floorspace, a company he established in 2022 with his wife Lindsay to modernize the commercial real estate experience. In his role, he is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the business, driving revenue and growth, and elevating the customer experience for Floorspace’s brokers and clients. In his previous role, at a global commercial real estate brokerage, Matt co-founded and chaired the firm’s Canadian technology team. He was the youngest person to achieve the title of Executive Vice President as well as numerous performance awards including Canada’s top broker in 2020.

Matt’s clients include fast-growing startups, tech unicorns and multi-national public companies. He has worked on large, multi-year consulting projects in major cities across North America; over his career he has completed 500+ projects accounting for more than $1 billion in aggregate value. Having previously founded a technology startup in 2006, Matt is passionate about entrepreneurship. He is an investor in technology companies and has advised young entrepreneurs on their products and strategies.
