Carey Buntain is the Lead Principal of the Multi-Family Team at Avison Young in British Columbia. He specializes in multi-family and development properties across the province. Carey and his team have transacted more than $3 billion in investment real estate assets since 2015, primarily across Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, Vancouver Island, and the Okanagan.

Carey advises private investors, developers, institutional clients, and REITs on acquisitions, dispositions, valuation, and strategic planning, bringing an investment‑driven, multi‑family‑focused perspective on rental market fundamentals across British Columbia. He is actively involved in mentoring emerging talent, having previously served as a Vancouver office Ambassador and currently a member of the Avison Young Emerging Leaders Council. Carey also supports several charitable organizations, including Youth Education Farms, Canucks Place, Covenant House, and the JCC.
