Eric Horie

Senior Vice President, Head of Origination at Trez Capital

Eric Horie joined Trez Capital in January 2017 and has progressed to his current role of Senior Managing Director, Head of Origination Canada, where he is responsible for both leading the Canadian origination team and for sourcing commercial and multi-family mortgage loan and equity investment opportunities. Eric’s team originates, underwrites, and structures lending transactions for Trez Capital’s various debt Funds. Eric has over 15 years of corporate lending, underwriting and transactional experience, both in real estate and in diversified industry. Prior to joining Trez Capital, Eric worked at BMO where he held various roles including leading a team of diversified industry commercial lenders. Real estate transactional experience includes high leverage, construction, term, owner-user, syndications and joint offerings with mezzanine lenders. Eric is actively involved in a number of charitable causes including with the Richmond Hospital Foundation.
