Laura Way-Olenek began her career in the hotel industry working for years with many mainstream hotel chains gaining asset, facilities management and operations experience. After reaching a senior leadership position in hospitality management, Laura found herself looking for a new challenge. During conversations with her father, Curtis Way, founder of the RMS Group of Companies, Laura developed an interest in commercial real estate. In 2006, Laura joined the RMS Group of Companies learning each division of the group of companies from the ground up as she progressed from Employee to Manager, to Director, to Executive Vice President, and now holds the title of President.

Laura’s role focusses on financial controls, real estate development, property/asset management, and strategic planning. Laura is a Past President of the Edmonton CREW chapter and holds an active real estate license within Alberta and Saskatchewan.
