Laura Way-Olenek

Executive Vice President at The RMS Group of Companies

Laura Way-Olenek began her career in the hotel industry working for years with many mainstream hotel chains gaining asset, customer service and facilities management experience. After reaching a senior leadership position in hospitality management, Laura found herself looking for a new challenge. During conversations with her father, Curtis Way, founder of the RMS Group of Companies, Laura developed an interest in commercial real estate. In 2006, Laura joined the RMS Group of Companies learning each division of the group of companies from the ground up as she progressed from Employee to Manager, to Director, to Vice President, and now holds the title of Executive Vice President. Laura’s role focusses on financial controls, real estate development, property/asset management, and strategic planning. Laura holds an active real estate license and sits on the Board of Directors for Edmonton CREW as the 2023 Past President, as well as holding a seat on the Alberta Real Estate Foundation Governance Committee.
