Patricia Roset-Zuppa is Vice-President for Multi-Unit Housing Solutions at Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC). She leads the team that delivers federal housing initiatives and partners with the industry and federal government to build communities. She previously held the role of Vice-President, Policy and led the work on developing housing solutions and providing strategic advice to government. Since joining CMHC in 2009, Patricia has played a lead role in many federal housing programs and financing initiatives, including the development of Canada’s first National Housing Strategy and the Apartment Construction Loan Program.
Her career and academic background are in urban planning, real estate, housing policy and research across North America and Europe. Patricia holds a Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Florida, an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto, and Masters in Geography from Utrecht University in the Netherlands where she was born and raised.
Patricia actively mentors emerging professionals in public policy and real estate, and is an active member of the Education Committee of the Chartered Institute of Housing Canada.
