An experienced Executive Leader in the real estate and financial industry in Alberta, with over 20 years of experience, leading teams to excellence, results and profitable long-term ventures and partnerships.  At Landrex, as the President, reporting directly into the owner, Sophie leads all facets of the business from land development, commercial and residential construction, finance and accounting, and legal. Her focus is primarily on business development and acquisitions, with a unique ability to source profitable opportunities benefiting from optimal corporate structures and financing opportunities. Outside of Landrex, Sophie also has extensive experience in Banking, working for Canadian Western Bank for several years in financial reporting and budgeting. At CWB, Sophie steered the bank to achieving a balanced financial strategy considering risk and duration, while navigating through difficult changes in the banking world through regulatory and primate rate adjustments. Furthermore, Sophie was a critical leader in the divestiture and acquisition for CWB, leading the bank through the sale of a mutual fund company, an insurance company, as well as the acquisition of a large equipment lender and wealth management company.
