Tony Irwin serves as President & CEO of the Federation of Rental-housing Providers of Ontario (FRPO) and Rental Housing Canada (RHC), formerly the Canadian Federation of Apartment Associations.

FRPO represents more than 2,200 members and is Ontario’s leading voice for a strong and stable rental housing industry; while RHC advocates for the rental housing industry federally, representing over one million rental units from coast to coast.

Before joining FRPO, Tony was President & CEO of the Canadian Consumer Finance Association, a national trade association representing businesses that offer a range of financial services to Canadians. From 2005 to 2009, he led the Justin Eves Foundation as Executive Director, supporting learning-disabled and disadvantaged youth through scholarships and bursaries for post-secondary education. Tony’s background also includes senior political roles, including serving as Senior Advisor to an Ontario Premier and Executive Assistant to the Leader of the Official Opposition.
